Prime Reading gives members access to a library of more than 1,000 digital books, magazines and comics. The library features top-rated titles, and it will be rotated regularly to make sure you never run out of things to read. Prime Reading requires the Kindle app, so isn’t just limited to Kindles themselves. You can get the Kindle app on iPad, iPhone, Android, PC, Mac and Fire tablet too. And you’re not limited to a particular number of books and comics, either. In fact, you could download the entire catalogue if you wanted to. To get started, download the Kindle app for your device. You’ll then need to sign in with your Prime account (you can get a free trial for one month by clicking here). What happens next will depend on the device you’re using. With iOS, you should spot the Prime label on books in the Discover tab, and there’s a whole Prime Reading section available there.
Kindle Unlimited is a different service that offers more than one million titles for £7.99 per month, so isn’t the same as Prime Reading. You get one Kindle Unlimited every month as part of Prime, but unless you actually subscribe to the full Kindle Unlimited service you’ll only be able to get Prime Reading titles beyond that. Prime Reading certainly makes the already reasonable price of £7.99 per month or £79 per year (which works out to less than £7 per month) even more competitive.
