Update 11 October: Following the continued issues with Note 7 batteries, Samsung has finally decided to stop sales completely, and the exchange programme, while it investigates further. This could well be the end of the Note 7 for good but we’ll be keeping an eye on the situation going forward. For now, power down and do not use the Note 7 if you have one. Take it back to the retailer for a refund or to exchange it for a different model....
UK Price and Availability The Galaxy Note 8 was announced in a special Unpacked event on 23 August 2017. It became available to pre-order the next day at £869 inc VAT, and began shipping on 15 September. That’s really quite expensive for a smartphone even by today’s standards – it’s £180 more than the £689 Galaxy S8 (which is now available for as little as £550), for example. It’s cheaper than the iPhone X, which starts at £999 and is likely to be one of the Note 8’s biggest rivals....

There are two models of the new Galaxy Tab S range, an 8in model and a larger 10in model. Bucking the usual 10.1in trend, it has a 10.5in screen. Both will launch in two colours: ‘Dazzling White’ and ‘Titanium Bronze’.
